Bill is a co-founder of both Mutual Capital Partners and Access Ventures Fund (2000). He leads the software practice for Mutual Capital Partners and has been an active angel investor since 1997. Until starting both venture funds, Trainor was Senior Vice President-Head of E-Commerce Investment Banking at McDonald Investments, an investment bank acquired by Key Corp. At McDonald Investments, he focused on consumer, retail, healthcare, and service companies working closely with companies that were using technology to expand and complement their existing business structure. Bill joined McDonald Investments in 1994 after graduating from Columbia University with an A.B. in Political Science. He serves on the non-profit board of the Pennsylvania Venture Capital Association, founded in 1982 to catalyze venture investment and entrepreneurialism in Western Pennsylvania.

Wayne Wallace co-founded Mutual Capital Partners and leads the firm’s medical device investing practice. Previously, Wallace worked in investment banking for National City Investments and McDonald Investments. His investment banking experience includes engagements with numerous private and public companies and represents billions in transaction volume. Wayne holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a specialty in Finance from The Ohio State University. Liz Todia, principal, is a graduate of the University of Dayton where she received a B.S. in Entrepreneurship and Finance with honors. Prior to joining MCP, she spent two years managing the Flyer Angels Fund, a $1 million seed investment fund investing in early-stage, Ohio-based technology companies. Todia’s responsibilities at MCP include deal flow sourcing, due diligence, portfolio company support and investor relations. She currently serves as Executive Co-Chair of VentureNext, a professional peer group of rising venture capitalists that represents over 100 funds and over $8 billion AUM. Additionally, she is on the selection committee for the Medtech Launch Fund, a member of the Crotty Center Advisory Council at the University of Dayton, and the West Side Catholic Center Associate Board.
