About
The Hildebrandt Building has been an active asset to the Clark Fulton neighborhood since the 1890s. Starting as a meat packing firm (Hildebrandt Provisions), to a light industrial complex, and currently as a makers space HUB.
Today, the building houses over 50 tenants composed of artists and small businesses. The buildings’ purpose goes beyond economic development, providing space for rooftop beehives and community events.
To keep up with its history of evolution, the Hildebrandt Building seeks to add a
1. Green/Permeable parking Lot and a
2. Intensive green roof to decrease stormwater runoff and provide other ecological benefits.
3. A space for community education and engagements, including an outdoor gathering area, and
4. Historic preservation education.
