About

The Mezzanine Fund provides flexible debt capital to businesses owned by women and people of color to support growth strategies. The fund presents a unique opportunity for investors to generate strong returns by capturing the demonstrated out-performance of diverse-led companies. Distinct from venture capital and private equity, the fund provides builder capital designed to transform entrepreneurial businesses to scaled businesses, aligning investor and borrower goals without ownership dilution, valuations or premature exits. The experience and expertise of the fund’s managers in providing risk capital, particularly in distressed economic environments, and the fund’s network of subject matter experts and large enterprise customers, make the fund uniquely positioned to achieve strong returns. There are over 10,000 companies in the Midwest that fit the fund’s criteria; our current pipeline of active prospects is equal to 15% of the total $100 million fund goal.

Team

The Mezzanine Fund team is aligned with the goal of surrounding portfolio companies with exceptional resources for scaling.
